Taste of Athabasca

The Triple-A LIVE! season for 2010-11 opens Sept. 18 with The Rodeo Riders. The Athabasca Arts Alliance has teamed up with the Taste of Athabasca to present a combination of comedy, music, and the culinary arts for the Alberta Arts Days weekend.

The Rodeo Riders will appear in two shows in the Nancy Appleby Theatre Sept. 18, one at 3 p.m. for the youngsters and their parents, and another at 7:30 p.m. for everyone else.

In between those two shows, you can go to the Multiplex to enjoy the flavours of the world as Taste of Athabasca returns for another evening of food of every ethnic flavour.

You can buy a combined advance ticket to Taste of Athabasca and The Rodeo Riders in the evening for just $25.

Tickets for just the Rodeo Riders are $5 for the matinee and $20 for the evening performance (Students $5).

A ticket to Taste of Athabasca only is $15 for adults and $5 for children at the door.

Scarecrow Contest

The Athabasca Communities in Bloom committee is sponsoring a Scarecrow Festival as part of Alberta Arts Days. You can enter a scarecrow as a group or as an individual.
